More About Me

My role is not simply to play music, but to shape the emotional arc of the entire day — from ceremony to the final record — across genres, generations, and cultures.

Philosophy

After decades of club DJing, one truth has never failed me:

The best DJs entertain themselves first — and when they do, the crowd always follows.

When there are no compromises, the dancefloor becomes effortless.

What Sets Me Apart

Many world-class DJs excel within a specific sound. Where I stand apart is live adaptability.

Extremely fast live mixing. The ability to DJ confidently with music I have never heard before. Seamless genre transitions without preparation or rehearsal.

This allows true freedom — and that freedom is felt immediately on the dancefloor.

Live Mixing — My Defining Language

My preferred way of performing is live, extended mixing. I regularly join two records that have never been played together before, live, in real time — often layering them for several minutes.

When one mix resolves, the next transition begins within 30 seconds, and this flow continues for hours without interruption.

This creates momentum without fatigue. Surprise without confusion. A dancefloor that never resets — only evolves.

It is not about tricks or effects. It is about continuous musical conversation.

Analog Skill in a Digital World

I regularly perform extended live mixes on vinyl. While most DJs rely on digital systems that analyze tracks by BPM and key, I mix without auto-sync, without strict key-matching rules, and without visual safety nets — and still make it work.

This is not nostalgia. It is musicianship.

I freely blend music released 40 years ago with tracks released months ago — including unreleased or obscure music with only a handful of listeners. The result is contrast, tension, and discovery — not predictability.

Musical Taste Over Algorithms

I do not use Spotify or algorithm-driven streaming services. For decades, my primary source of inspiration has been radio shows by highly experienced, world-class DJs — long-form selections where taste, patience, and narrative matter.

This habit has shaped how I play: less instant gratification, more long-term emotional payoff. Music chosen by ear, instinct, and memory — not by software suggestions.

Experience & Foundation

My professional life in music spans over two decades beyond weddings. Club residencies. Performances alongside some of the most respected DJs in the world. Organizer of 200+ curated music events.

Founder and leader of a DJ crew whose mixtape was featured on Ninja Tune Radio — Solid Steel, one of the most respected platforms in electronic music culture.

My musical foundation began early. As a teenager, I was mentored by professional musicians and academy professors, shaping a deep understanding of rhythm, harmony, and musical structure — not just DJ technique.

Music is not simply my profession. It is my obsession.

A Rare Combination

Alongside DJing, I am also a software engineer. When required, I design custom tools for audio workflow, edits, or performance constraints — ensuring that creative intention is never limited by technology.

If circumstances change, equipment fails, or logistics shift — the music never stops, and the quality never drops.

A Note on Value

Most couples will be very satisfied with a €1,000 wedding DJ.

If what you want your guests to say is "The DJ was really good" — then you do not need me.

My work is for couples who want their guests to say:

"I didn't know what a DJ really was until this wedding."

"That night changed how I experience music."

"I listen to more music now — and I'm genuinely happier because of it."

That level of impact requires experience, freedom, and absolute commitment.

Why My Fee is Fixed

I do not negotiate my rate. Lowering it would mean delivering a version of my work that I personally would not be satisfied with — and that is not something I am willing to do on a wedding day.

This is not about exclusivity. It is about integrity.

Art decorates places. Music decorates time.
